DESCRIPTION:oin TREEmendous Work Day\, Annual Meeting\, and Volunteer Appreciation Picnic celebrating community and coastal conservation\nJoin Us for the Treemendous Miami Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Picnic! \nArrival and sign-in for our optional work day will take place from 2:00–2:30 PM. \nWhat to Wear / Bring (for the optional volunteer session):\nClosed-toe shoes\nLong pants\nBug spray (some will be provided if you don’t have any)\nReusable water bottle recommended\nThe event will continue with an optional volunteer work session from 2:30–4:30 PM for those who want to help care for planted areas in the park and remove invasive plants that harm native trees and wildlife. No experience is needed\, and participation is completely optional.\nFor those not attending the volunteer session\, or for volunteers wrapping up\, free time from 4:30–5:00 PM allows everyone to arrive\, clean up\, relax\, and connect before the main gathering begins.\nThe picnic dinner and Annual Meeting will take place from 5:00–6:00 PM. TREEmendous Miami will provide the main food and refreshments\, and guests are welcome (but not required) to bring a side dish or dessert to share. During the meeting\, we’ll review highlights from the past year\, share updates on our work\, and hold the election of the upcoming Board of Directors.\nAfter the meeting\, we’ll close out the evening with a bonfire on the beach\, along with time to connect\, talk\, and enjoy the park together.
