The City’s Parks and Recreation department held a bike rodeo event on Wednesday,
July 9, 2025 at Mary Saunders Park, 4750 SW 21 Street, West Park. The children who
attended learned how to have fun cycling while doing so safely. While enjoying various
bike safety activities including an obstacle course, they were taught safety tips, balance,
steering, pedaling, and the importance of using their helmets at all times. With the help
of Broward Sheriff’s Office and the City of West Park staff, the event was a great success!
