The City of West Park offers three community benefit programs. The City’s community benefit programs were established through the City Commission and are designed to assist in improving quality of life conditions for local West Park residents. The three community benefit programs include the Minor Home Repair Program, the Childcare Assistance Program and the Tree Trimming Assistance Program.

To qualify for assistance, applicants must reside in the City of West Park and earn 80% or below of the median income level for Broward County. For a household size on one (1) the maximum program income is $49,950. This maximum amount increases depending on the size of the household. The Minor Home Repair program facilitates the repair of numerous non-cosmetic related home repairs. The Childcare Assistance Program provides assistance on a weekly basis for childcare assistance services and the City’s Tree Trimming Program provides assistance to trim trees growing into existing utility lines.

For additional information regarding any of the three Community Benefit programs please contact the City’s Community Development Department directly at (954) 989-2688, Extension 216 or 217.
