In our continued efforts to provide positive and enjoyable recreation activities for residents, the City, in collaboration with our Broward Sheriff’s Office Police Department staff, hosted a Movie on the Lawn event on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., at McTyre Park. Despite the chill, several families came out with lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy The Nightmare Before Christmas, which was displayed on a large, portable screen while our police department staff made and served popcorn to children. We look forward to hosting more family movie nights at the park, along with our many other fun-filled recreation events.
