Happy New Year! Thank you, West Park, for entrusting and confiding in me to represent you as your commissioner for seat 4. Thank you for believing in me to advocate in the interest of the people.
As we enter the year 2025, I will work for the next 4 years, advocating for the changes that the residents have brought to my concerns while I was on the campaign trail: removal of red light camera, better customer services, eliminating certain codes that hinder business and residents progress, reduction of city mileage rate among others not mentioned. Changes will gradually take place.
I am encouraging the residents of West Park to be present at city meetings, to continue voice your concerns. I need the support of the residents to bring forth your ideas to transform the city in a community oriented where we can live, work play and laugh.
Happy New Year, Happy Tax Season. The IRS Will Start accepting tax returns starting January 29,2025. This is the time most tax payers are expected a tax refund, to help supplement the cost rent, food, down payment for a home. Start gathering your tax documents. (If you work for several companies in 2024 make sure you obtain your W2’s, 109 from each employer). In addition to the tax documents, have a ready a copy of your driver’s license and copy of your social security card.
January 2025 and February 2025 is open enrollment for the affordable health insurance. Monthly premium starts from $0 and up, and doctor visits starts from $0 and up.
