West Park neighbors, family and friends…we’ve made it through another year! It’s 2025 and we’re still on the RISE! Each year is filled with new goals, adventures and achievements, and with that said, I’m proud to say that we’ve embraced, met and exceeded them all. Like previous years, 2024 has been nothing short of amazing!
As we embark upon new heights and deeper depths in 2025, we endeavor to remain focused on our commitment in moving the city forward in a Positive and Progressive manner.
Within the first quarter of this year, we will also have the wonderful pleasure of celebrating 20 YEARS of incorporation as a city! Although several said it was an impossible feat, and often times counted us out, those of us who dared to remain prayerful, optimistic and hopeful, truly believed in the resiliency and determination that characterizes this once unincorporated area, as well as the founding leaders who emerged from within.
It is my prayer that we hold these moments dear to us and draw strength & encouragement from them during the tough times ahead. For as the saying goes, “Tough times don’t last, but tough people do.” We have proven to remain steadfast throughout the test of time, and I am quite certain that we will continue to forge new paths and blaze new trails in the years ahead.
I wish you all a happy, safe and prosperous new year. May God continue to bless us all, our families and the great City of West Park in 2025 and beyond!
