Paint The City Pink Day. On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the City celebrated our annual Paint The City Pink Day. Pink ribbons and balloons were displayed all around City Hall and in the Commission Chamber, in recognition of October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. City Commission members, Staff and members of the public wore pink to the Commission Meeting at 7:00 p.m., and pink desserts were provided. Our police department also displayed its pink vehicle for the occasion!
Florida City Government Week. The City of West Park celebrated Florida City Government Week from October 21 to October 27, 2024. We showcased information at City Hall regarding free city programs and services currently available to residents and visitors, with onsite registration and additional information available. We were also able to engage residents with information on questions they had about the City.
