Participants in our senior program were recently given the opportunity to become Memorial Senior Partners members and are now joining other seniors in numerous activities. Our seniors visited Memorial Senior Partners at Boulevard Heights and participated in the Enhanced Fitness class. I must say, our seniors have been staying fit!
Seniors Tour Historic Home In West Park
On Monday, May 16, 2016 participants in our Senior Program visited the historic Bowles-Strachan House, Inc. The Bowles Strachan House is the last of four display homes that were built in 1941 in Carver Ranches, a subdivision of the City of West Park. This non-profit organization is dedicated to researching and preserving the history of Carver Ranches, South Florida and its early settlers by collecting and archiving photographs, artifacts, oral histories, and written material. The seniors enjoyed picnic lunches in the back yard while reflecting on the past and sharing special memories.
