Lake Forest students and staff had a whirlwind December! From celebrating the talents of Black Violin (Turnaround Artists) at the December School Board meeting, to providing incentives for students for their academic efforts through their Bolt Bucks Store, it was a season for celebrating! Parents and students were treated to a winter wonderland musical where students celebrated holidays around the world through song. Staff was treated to coffee and sweet treats by the Activity Team who danced their way into everyone’s hearts!
A BIG THANKS goes out to Birchwood Credit Services as well as the Student Governments at both Beachside Montessori K-8 and Hallandale High Schools for their generous toy drives that benefitted the students and families at Lake Forest Elementary. The school is also very appreciative for the donations from Florida Virtual School (through Felicia Brunson) and the Broward Sheriff’s Office staff for providing incentives for all our students.
