Meet Ms. Thomasena Blake, one of our senior program participants. Ms. Blake is a 65-year-old retired housekeeping manager of 34 years. Ms. Blake is from Somer Point, New Jersey. After retiring in 2019, she moved to West Park to reside with her sister. Ms. Blake enjoys spending time with her family doing activities during the weekend. After attending an event at the West Park Senior Center in 2019, she became joined the program and has been a devoted member ever since. According to Ms. Blake, the City’s senior Program has given her the opportunity to meet new people, socialize, and with the transportation services provided by the program, her recreational activities have greatly increased!
