From the Parks and Recreation Department
The West Park Hurricanes Cheerleading Program proudly hosts 3 teams that are part of the Miami Extreme Youth Cheerleading League. We have teams in the Pee-Wee, 105lb, and 150lb divisions who proudly support our football teams as they battle against some of the toughest competition in South Florida and propel them to victory with their joyous chants and positive cheers. In addition, they compete on a yearly basis against other cheer programs in their Annual Cheerleading Competition. This year’s competition will be held on Sunday, October 30th, 2011 at the University of Miami Bank United Center on the Coral Gables campus beginning at 8:00am. We hope you can make the trip to support our cheerleaders as they compete against all the other programs in the league in an effort to bring home the championship trophies.
