Lycée Franco-Américain International School (Private: PreK-2 to 5th grade) and the International School of Broward (Charter: grades 6-12) are offering a 21st century global education to their students. Students in their program are fully immersed in English, French, and Spanish. The schools offer an International Studies track which prepares students for an International Diploma (The French Baccalaureate or the French American Baccalaureate) recognized by the FrenchMinistry of Education and the College Board while earning their traditional high school diploma. Students in this rigorous course of study take Advanced Placement courses and receive between 20-60 university credits upon successful completion of the program. In the English track program, students follow the common core curriculumin English while attending immersed courses in French or Spanish to become fully bilingual.
International School of Broward (ISB) and Lycée Franco- Américain International School (LFA) are accredited by the French Ministry of Education (MEN). Additionally, ISB is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS/AdvancED) and LFA by the Association of Independent Schools (AISF). LFA recently moved to a state of the art campus. All classrooms are equipped with computer stations and interactive boards. Students in grades 3-5 have an individual I-pad. ISB students have been accepted into accelerated programs at major universities in the U.S. and Europe: University of North Carolina, New York University, Emory, Purdue,University of Illinois, Penn State, UM, Imperial College of London, University of Glasgow, and Sciences Po.
