Attorney Ronald P. Roman was honored on Sept. 19 as the “Ultimate Networker” of the Kendall Networkers Inc., following a vote by the organization’s membership.
Roman was presented with the award during one of two monthly breakfast meetings conducted by the Kendall group at 7:30 a.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month at La Carreta Restaurant, 11740 SW 88 St.
The award was named to honor the late Allan Stoller who made outstanding contributions during his membership in the organization.
Criteria for the award include high numbers of referrals given other members, recruiting new members, business presentation, superlative attitude and attendance.
Members Marvin P. Stein and Alan Eisenberg conceived the award to honor Stoller following his death in 2008 and the honor was approved as an annual event starting in 2009. Previous winners were Ron Lieberman, 2009; Abe Levy, 2010, and Martha Rothaus, 2011.
For more than 35 years, Roman has been involved in the fields of distribution, franchise, trademark and corporate law, including merger and acquisition law, and trade regulation law.
A 1976 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, he is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey. He holds an MBA in International Business from Pace University as an honors graduate in 1973 and a BS in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University.
