While July 4th is celebrated as Independence Day for when the document was signed, our second U.S. President, John Adams, thought the day the document was passed, July 2, a better day to celebrate. Shell Lumber & Hardware President Jesus Guzman, thought that July 2 worked well as the start of a long holiday weekend but also a chance to celebrate America and to thank his costumers with free hot dogs, prizes, drinks and more. Former Rotarians stopped by to visit that day and to thank Guzman and Shell Lumber for their ongoing commitment to serving others.
