It’s back, and just in time for rising temperatures. Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail on Watson Island, invites visitors for a tidal wave of fun with the attraction’s exhilarating Rainforest Riptide, a floating water playground and obstacle course for ages 3 and up.
A parent or adult must accompany children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old.
Tour Jungle Island’s lush tropical park, numerous exhibits and shows — all while getting a closer than usual look at some of the world’s most rare animals. Then head to Parrot Cove, a private beach oasis, for more wild adventures under the sun.
For an experience of a lifetime, Jungle Island encourages guests to strap on a life vest and wade into the waters of Biscayne Bay to play on its Rainforest Riptide. This massive water structure boasts a series of adrenaline-pumping obstacles including balance beams, action tower, trampoline, bridge, cliff, high jump, catapult, slide and swing. An adjacent climbing wall gives even the most gifted climbers a test of strength and endurance.

Rainforest Riptide hours of operation are daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the park closes at 5 p.m. For families, Jungle Island is excited to debut a new Jungle Splash, Burger Cash promotion, which includes a fourpack of one-day passes, all-day access to the Rainforest Riptide and four $10 burger vouchers to use at Island Burger, for only $149.95, plus tax. Without the package, the cost to participate is park admission ($39.95 per adult and $32.95 per child) plus a fee to use the Rainforest Riptide, which is an additional $15 per person and $10 for annual pass holders.
