Due to the great success and rising demand for more resources from KidVision VPK (Virtual Pre-Kindergarten) users, KidVision VPK announces the expansion of its online professional development program for pre-school teachers to include younger children, titled KidVision 1-2-3.
KidVision Teachers Association members now will have access to lesson plans and student assessments built around Virtual Field Trips for ages 18-24 months, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds.
Each field trip will include 16 lesson plans and 16 assessments, based upon Florida and national education standards. There are a total of 960 lesson plans and 960 assessments for the 60 Field Trip Modules currently posted on the KidVision VPK website (www.kidvisionvpk.org). As new Field Trip Modules are added to the website, each will include lesson plans and assessments for all four age groups — ones, twos, threes and fours.
The addition of KidVision 1-2-3 enables teachers to see the developmental sequence for each age group and the progression of learning over time. Field trips can now be used by the whole preschool to learn and teach according to current educational standards.
“I have been presenting KidVision VPK at early childhood conferences around the state of Florida for the last five years,” said Penny Bernath, Education Services manager at WPBT2. “I often hear from preschool owners, directors and teachers that all preschool age groups need help learning and teaching standards. Due to these overwhelming requests we have answered the call and now are very happy to be able to provide educational resources for all preschool age groups.”
