Food (so much food!) and friends (so many friends!) and great camaraderie filled the home of Herb Barker, owner of Barker Animation Art Galleries, as he celebrated his 89th birthday in style. Popeye, the beloved Disney cartoon fictional character created (appropriately) 89 years ago, was the party theme. Betty Boop, another famous Disney character, was on full display in memory of Gloria Barker, Herb’s wife who recently passed away.
