There’s a party going on and it’s a rainbow-filled affair.
Miami Children’s Museum is a place for all children and they are celebrating the pride and diversity of Rainbow Family Day! All day long on June 29 (10 a.m.-6 p.m.) the museum becomes a playground for LGBTQ families and those with gender non-conforming children. A festive time is guaranteed for all.
On Rainbow Families Day, join the musuem for playful activities that celebrate and show support for LGBTQ families. All families are encouraged to participate in a variety of fun activities. Take a beautiful family portrait in the photo booth, and decorate an original picture frame to display it. Join local artist, Edwin Hernandez, and add your piece to the collaborative art project. Enjoy a special story time about different family makeups and watch an original show by our theater troupe.

Miami Children’s Museum is located at 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island. Admission is $22 for adults and children, $15 for Florida residents, free for children under 1 year and admission for museum members is complimentary.
