October was a very busy month for Stefan Ilies, owner and dance instructor of Let’s Dance Miami. Stefan planned a Halloween costume competition for his dance students where the winners won a complimentary dance class. With a full evening of Superman, Batman, Morticia, Gonzalez, Zorro and more superheroes, everyone danced and laughed the night away.
And right on the heels of that party, Let’s Dance Miami represented Aventura in one of the largest and most prestigious competitions in America—the Grand Nationals Championship held in Doral. This international competition attracted couples from Italy, Russian, Ukraine, Japan and throughout the USA. Six of Stefan’s students participated in the competition and brought home many first place awards. The end to the perfect evening was when student Daniela Bertonatti, who competed for the first time, was proposed to after the competition, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
“The hard work, dedication and camaraderie of our competitive teams was on full display—we are so very proud of all our students!” said Stefan. “Dancing is back and stronger than ever. People want to dance and compete and it is our pleasure to guide our students on this wonderful journey!”
