Acqualina Resort & Residences, the Sunny Isles Beach iconic resort providing an ultra-luxurious beach lifestyle, has been recognized in the 2021 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hotels rankings as the #1 Best Resort in the Continental U.S.
Editors researched thousands of hotels, collected dozens of data points and used an unbiased approach to calculate the rankings. The 11th annual Best Hotels rankings evaluated more than 30,000 luxury properties across the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. The methodology considers a hotel’s star rating and both expert and guest sentiment by collecting annual awards from distinguished travel publications and TripAdvisor user scores, the combination of which helps determine each hotel’s rank.
“COVID-19 has challenged all of us and our team has worked very hard to consistently deliver five-star service to our guests ensuring they feel safe, relaxed and create wonderful memories together,” said Acqualina CEO and Partner Deborah Yager Fleming. “This award is a great testament to our continued efforts of exceeding expectations at every turn. It’s our mission to constantly do better at every level.”
With its world-class restaurants, curated amenities and luxurious rooms and suites, Acqualina Resort provides an exclusive experience and ultra-luxurious beach lifestyle like no other. The gorgeous beachfront location features outdoor living room settings, three oceanfront swimming pools and cabanas where guests can make online reservations.
Guests of the luxury Miami Beach resort can bask in the South Florida sun or spend the afternoon shaded by palm trees. The attentive Acqualina team will make sure every need is met. That includes everything from serving a delicious Mediterranean lunch on the beach to providing a delectable coconut or a cocktail where guests never need to leave the beach.
The ultra-luxury resort’s extensive safety measures include using innovative sanitation technology in all interior and exterior areas, including electrostatic disinfectant tools that combine EPA-approved chemicals with electrostatic molecules to sanitize all spaces ensuring that every area of the property has been effectively and regularly cleaned to the highest standard. This is in addition to the resort’s superior level of cleaning and hygienic protocols in place already, and frequent hand washing, use of gloves and face masks.
Last month, Acqualina Resort became one of the first hotels in the world to become Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide. The comprehensive facility verification helps ensure that you can book with confidence based on our compliance with expert-validated best practices that minimize the risk and impact of COVID-19. This verification comes on the heels of Acqualina achieving the global sanitation accreditation by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council as a confirmed GBAC Star accredited facility last month.
