Appeal of Conscience Foundation to honor Former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe and Dr. Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer

Given the continued ban of large gatherings in New York City due to COVID-19, the Appeal of Conscience Foundation will hold its 56th Annual Awards Event virtually on Monday, March 22, 2021.

His Excellency Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan, will be recognized with the 2021 World Statesman Award for his significant contribution beyond his country to peaceful coexistence, security and cooperation in the spirit of his ancestors as well as a great service to his nation.

Dr. Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer, will receive the 2021 Appeal of Conscience Award for his leadership in helping to heal a world wounded by the COVID-19 pandemic and for his tireless work in service of the global community.

Hosted by Alina Cho, CBS Sunday Morning Contributor, the program will feature inspiring remarks by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Dr. Henry Kissinger, and Founder and President of ACF, Rabbi Arthur Schneier; an awards presentation and musical program featuring opera singer, Asuka Uchida and a special performance by children from around the country directed by Enrico Carducci.
