Aventura Mall is expanding its selection of fashion and jewelry retailers with the addition of Colombian beachwear brand Agua Bendita, Italian jeweler Brosway, art exhibition space Avant Gallery, and more.
Agua Bendita, opening soon on the Upper Level, is a Colombian swimwear and resort-wear brand featuring a unique collection that combines contemporary designs with the handmade touch of hundreds of female Colombian artisans. Each artisan transforms pieces into embroidered garments via techniques that have been passed on through generations.
The brand’s collections include bikinis and one pieces, jumpsuits, cover-ups, dresses, accessories and more. Founded by two enterprising women, Agua Bendita has worked with Colombian artisans – the heart of the brand – since 2003.
Vilebrequin , opening soon on the Upper Level, is rooted in the joy and freedom of St. Tropez in the 1970s. Season after season, the French luxury swimwear brand – created in 1971 by photographer and sports automobile journalist Fred Prysquel – represents elegant vacation style fit to be passed on from one generation to the next. Vilebrequin has mastered the art of the “swimming costume,” creating exceptional models via a nearly 32-step process. The brand is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, as well as its patterns, exclusive collections, monogramming services and craftsmanship.
Avant Gallery, located on the Lower Level, founded by Dmitry Prut in Miami Beach in 2007, has remained as committed as ever to being an exciting presence for established and early to mid-career contemporary artists. The new, 5,000 square-foot exhibition space at Aventura Mall features custom-built booths that call to mind the atmosphere of an art fair and represent a solo exhibition for each artist, including Skyler Grey, Paul Rousso, BNS, Terry O’Neill, Josh Mayhem, Invader, LaSso, Tim Tadder, Becky Rosa, Will Kurtz, El Pez and Mauricio Avayu. Avant Gallery offers private appointments with its staff of experienced art consultants. Collectors worldwide may also view the pieces via Avant Gallery’s “Avantar,” an employed avatar robotic system that enables art enthusiasts to experience the exhibition from the comfort of their own home.
Brosway, located on the Lower Level, a brand leader in Italian fashion jewels, represents and interprets trends and lifestyles via a glamorous and combinable jewelry collection.
Each jewel has a unique meaning and is made with the brand’s Italian taste, quality, innovation and design. Created in 1979, Brosway creates pieces for both men and women, including tennis bracelets, watches, rings, necklaces, earrings and more. Among the newest collections are Chakra, a line of bracelets made with 316L stainless steel and crystals, and Tres Jolie pendant beads.
Hive & Colony, opening soon on the Upper Level, is the premier clothing store for bespoke menswear, where fashion and innovation are combined – using rich luxury fabrics and the latest technology – to transform garments and accessories into unique custom pieces. The brand started off as a Tailor Truck concept on the streets of Manhattan in 2008. Since then, it has expanded across the country, offering custom suits, coats, shirts and shoes and accessories fit for weddings, corporate events and more. Known for its for its selection and overall experience, Hive & Colony tailors pieces to precise measurements taken with its state-of-the-art 3D body scanner. The Aventura Mall store will be the brand’s first in Florida.
Alma by Angel De La Guarda, located on the Upper Level, is a South American women’s swimwear brand offering stylish swimsuits, cover-ups and beach accessories with worldly influences. Featuring solid prints, bold colors, tropical and animal prints, shell accents and belted details, each piece – including bikinis, swimsuits, dresses, pants, skirts, kimonos and matching sets – is created to make a statement.
Melissa Shoes, opening soon, is known for its vegan, 100% recyclable jelly shoes and offers iconic, bubble-gum scented footwear inspired by fashion, art, design and sustainability.
Founded in 1979, the brand offers a plethora of styles, including sandals, slides, wedges, riders, and even jelly heels, boots and sneakers. Additionally, Melissa Shoes features a “Mini Melissa” collection with sandals, flats and sneakers for babies and kids, as well as a line of accessories including work bags, totes, and children’s backpacks.
Beach Bunny, opening soon on the Upper Level, is known for one-of-a-kind swimwear styles and luxurious resort-wear for all ages and occasions. Headquartered in Orange County, Calif., the brand creates designs from the finest European fabrics with custom hardware and noteworthy details. Angela Chittenden, founder and CEO, has grown Beach Bunny into a global brand that is internationally recognized for its sultry, glamorous and playful bikinis, one pieces, cover-ups, jewelry, sandals and more. The Aventura Mall store will be one of Beach Bunny’s two Florida locations.
Survival, opening soon on the Lower Level, Miami’s top urban and streetwear boutique, features a variety of apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and kids. From tops and bottoms to sets, toys, shoes and more, Survival offers pieces from popular brands such as New Balance, Fila and more. T-shirts, denim, sneakers, hoodies, joggers and bucket hats make Survival an ideal store for all things streetwear.
Royal Bee, located on the Upper Level, is a luxury gift shop that celebrates Earth’s most precious pollinator. The brand offers a wide selection of specialty items for personal care and the home, from gourmet honey and beeswax candles to hand-crafted soaps with skin-enriching ingredients. This will be the brand’s first location in South Florida and second in the state.
Additionally, Blue Nile, a leading diamond jewelry brand specializing in engagement and wedding rings, is set to open its first Florida store at Aventura Mall this September.
