Hilton Aventura recently hosted over 100 Shaner Hotel Group employees from throughout the Southeast United States with an elegant party, including an Iron Chef Competition and the music of the incomparable Mason Pace Band, rockers extraordinaire.
An Iron Chef competition awaited guests as the doors to the beautiful Carrington Ballroom opened to a drum roll. The top chefs included Jason Ward from The Daytona Autography Collection hotel; Jeff Brittingham from the Courtyard Marriott Marathon; Philip Thompson from The Hilton Aventura Miami and Gavin Pera from Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection. Each chef prepared their specialty dishes to be voted on by the guests and ultimately by a panel of judges consisting of executives and hotel ownership. The Iron Chef Competition winner was Chef Philip Thompson who served Cuban Coffee- Rubbed Lamb Chops.
Mason Pace Band kept the action going as SlinkyMan and a juggler weaved in and out of the delighted crowd.
