Recording group song for 13th annual Gulfstream Park YOUNG STARS SHOWCASE
What a treat it was for the Young Stars from the 13th annual Gulfstream Park YOUNG STARS SHOWCASE to have an opportunity to record the group song for their upcoming
concert at Gulfstream Park’s Sport of Kings Theater on Sunday, November 20th, 5pm.
Although some of the Young Stars have been on national television shows like America’s Got Talent and The Voice, they were inspired knowing that their “hometown hero”, Pitbull, aka “Mr. 305” and “Mr. Worldwide” grew from a local performer to an international star through hard work and dedication. Pitbull’s partner and CEO of Mr. 305, Inc., Robert Fernandez, met with the Young Stars and encouraged them to keep writing songs and perfecting their craft. Sound Engineer Angel Rojas recorded the group song, and the Young Stars were extremely impressed with the sound system and equipment there.
Ran Oz, Creative & Musical Director for the YOUNG STARS SHOWCASE since its inception in 2010, said, “This was a wonderful opportunity for our Young Stars to record a song in such an acoustically calculated, high-quality recording studio. And it was a great honor to be invited by and meet Robert Fernandez who has worked side-by-side with Pitbull since he began his journey.”
The annual YOUNG STARS SHOWCASE is the signature event of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) that features amazing young singers, ages 9 – 18 , from throughout South Florida. Online auditions are still open : www.yssaventura.org
Proceeds of this event benefit the AMC Education Foundation that works with the AMC’s ten Dade Partner schools.
