Members of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) recently enjoyed the award-winning musical comedy, “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the beautiful Aventura Arts & Cultural Center (AACC) . The musical is about six quirky pre-teens competing in a fictional spelling bee run by three equally quirky grown-ups.
This show is only one of many outstanding professional productions at the AACC throughout the year, including plays, touring comedians and world musicians.
Jeff Kiltie, Aventura Arts & Cultural Center General Manager, said, “The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center continues to grow in terms of the number and variety of outstanding programs we offer to our residents and surrounding communities. Most recently, we hosted a production of the Broadway musical-comedy “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” starring superb local talent. The upcoming season will also be filled with wonderful programs including Broadway titles, family shows, comedy, variety and legendary performers. The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center has something for everyone.”
