In Miami, AjMadison collaborated with the Principal and Owner of Sofia Joelsson Design for the Kitchen Design Collective transformation of a penthouse residence. A Swedish native who came to America in 1998 to pursue her passion for interior decorating, Sofia Joelsson is renowned for her meticulous design approach that perfectly fits into her clients’ lifestyles. Her goal is to capture the essence of their dream home and deliver a complete environment that intersects luxury with comfort, indulgence with wellness, and technology with simplicity.
A kitchen is the heart of the home, the focal point for gathering. It is a place for relaxing, creating elegant meals, completing homework, and entertaining guests, Successful design in this important anchoring room requires balance, beauty, functionality, and innovation. Joelsson delivered the air of enchantment to a sophisticated kitchen she created for this Ocean Drive residence, which is warm, welcoming, and has that “Wow” factor, with 360-degree views of Miami. As the kitchen’s most visible appliance, Joelsson selected a professional range to make a big design impression. She created a kitchen that is a symphony of style, function, and sophistication for her music-loving clients.
“This kitchen is a hub for entertainment and gathering to celebrate with great food and music, as the husband enjoys playing the piano in the main living area of the penthouse,” explains Sofia Joelsson. “AjMadison was our first choice on this residence, or any other project in Miami, with their unbelievable selection of luxury brands, several styles, feature options, and top-notch customer service.
