The City of Aventura Police Foundation Board announces its long-awaited inaugural annual golf classic. This exciting, new, annual fundraising event will draw hundreds of supporters of the Aventura Police, its City of Excellence, residents and businesses.

Presented by The Aventura Mall and Packetalk, the highly-anticipated golf classic will take place at the exclusive JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. A total of 120 golfers will enjoy breakfast and an 8:30am shotgun start, and immediately following completion of the tournament, at approximately 1pm, a Golf Classic Awards Ceremony luncheon at the exquisite Bourbon Steak Restaurant.

If you are not a golfer, you can still show your support of the Aventura Police by joining the Awards Ceremony luncheon purchasing one of 60 available Luxury Lounge Luncheon Tickets.

Established in 2021 to strengthen community policing efforts, the Aventura Police Foundation supports additional training, materials and equipment, but, more importantly, supports the dedicated police officers in times of personal or family crises.

The APF Board is made up of volunteers Gary Pyott of Association 1st and Campbell Property Management, Dimitry Shaposhnikov of DSX Holding, Jeffrey Levinson of Valley National Bank, Hon. Luz Weinberg of Esplanade at Aventura, and Williams Island’s own Edgar Monserratt. Aventura Chief of Police Michael Bentolila serves as advisor to the board.

Foursomes are $2,750.00 and individual golfers are $750.00 – includes full day experience.

Luxury Lounge Luncheon-Only Support tickets are $250.00. Limited Sponsorships remain. 100% of the proceeds benefit APF.
