Now local gourmands have even more reason to head to the legendary Turnberry Isle Miami and enjoy award-winning cuisine at the resort’s Bourbon Steak and Cascata Grill restaurants. Throughout August and September, both restaurants are participating in the popular Miami Spice culinary promotion and will feature special three-course choice menus offered at attractive prices.
For fans of Celebrity Chef Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, the Miami Spice menu at this popular hotspot is rich with a selection of creatively-inspired dishes by Executive Chef Gabriel Fenton. To start, guests can choose between a local wahoo, grilled peach salad or corn ravioli. Main entrée selections include a Thai curry rock shrimp, Kurobuta pork ribs as well as an Imperial Farms wagyu eye of rib eye. For dessert, talented Pastry Chef Andrea Sans Araiza has mastered the art of indulgence with decadent wild blueberry shortcake, pecan butterscotch parfait or chef’s selection of sorbets and ice creams. The Spice menu at Bourbon Steak is available daily for dinner and is $39 per person.
Recently, Turnberry Isle Miami announced the addition of Executive Chef John Sexton who has put his expert touch on the Spice menus at Cascata Grill. Some of the highlights from both the lunch and dinner menus include a bronzed salmon with cumin scented spinach and Israeli cous cous; a roast duck served with forest mushrooms, madeira, mascarpone, veal glace and fresh herbs plucked from the resort’s onsite chef’s garden; mouthwatering coffee and chili rubbed beef short ribs; and crispy cornflake crusted grouper. The dinner menu is available daily for $33 per person, while lunch-goers can savor Miami Spice on weekdays only for $19.
