City of Aventura Announces Seasonal Park Hours Change

The City of Aventura will adjust the operating hours of its parks for the upcoming season, effective Sunday, September 15, 2024. This seasonal change ensures that residents and visitors can continue to enjoy the city’s beautiful parks while accommodating the changing daylight hours.

The new hours of operation for the following parks will be as follows: 

Founders Park North, Founders Park South, Peace Park, and Veterans Park: Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Waterways Park: Open Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. On weekdays when the neighboring Don Soffer Aventura High School is not in session, the park will also be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Waterways Dog Park: Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except on Wednesdays when the park will be closed for maintenance.

Please note that Founders Park North, Founders Park South, and Waterways Park may remain open later for special City programming as needed.
