On Sunday, February 2nd, The Dental Care Group celebrates the 13th anniversary of Dentistry From Our Hearts (DFOH) providing free dental services to underserved communities in South Florida. The event is being held at two of their locations: The Dental Care Group Aventura and The Dental Care Group Pembroke Pines, from 9am to 4pm.
For the past 13 years, The Dental Care Group has been brightening smiles throughout South Florida with their annual signature charity event known as Dentistry From Our Hearts. This heartwarming initiative provides free dental care to those who need it most – a gesture of ‘thank you’ for being part of their community. This event is designed for the “needy and not the greedy”, providing quality oral health care services to those who need it most – regardless of their ability to pay.
Last year’s celebration was a huge success. Hundreds of patients were seen and received services that ranged from examination and cleanings to fillings and extractions. The total value of the services provided on this day alone was over $150,000. Over the last 12 years,
The Dental Care Group has given away nearly $2 million in free dentistry to the underserved community of South Florida.
The entire team of the Dental Care Group volunteers their time on this annual day of giving. From dentists and hygienists to front office personnel, everyone works hard to ensure that the patients receive the best possible care. Dr. Rick Mars, President of The Dental Care Group, says “Our offices theme this year is gratitude and during Dentistry From Our Hearts there is no greater feeling of giving AND gratitude. We are extremely thankful to our entire team and sponsors for making it possible!”
Gina Lord, Dental Care Group’s Lead Assistant, added “I look forward to Dentistry From Our Hearts because it allows us to directly contribute to the well being of others who may not have access to necessary dental care.”
The Dental Care Group Team is excited about this year’s event and looks forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come. They are dedicated to continuing their mission of providing free dental care for those in need and look forward to many more successful events in the future.
