Members of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) welcomed in their new Chairman of the Board, Gary Pyott, President of FirstService Residential Florida. Pyott joined the AMC in 1991 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2007. Cliff Schulman of Weiss Serota Helfman stepped down as Chairman after serving in that capacity for 13 years, and Pyott was the unanimous choice of the Board members to take over the reins of this progressive business organization with members from throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
His passion for the AMC is in meeting with other business leaders and making personal connections to them. “Being Chairman has given me a new ability to appreciate the amount and diversity of programming,” he said. “Working towards the growth and expansion of the AMC is my focus for the next two years. I want to increase membership and programming to business leaders and grow awareness of this outstanding business organization.”
