IBERIA TILES and City of Aventura help spread the movement to Aventura
BRITTO…..There are some people in our world who only need one name, and BRITTO ranks right up there in that echelon.
Romero Britto and his team invited members of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) to visit his BRITTO PALACE recently, and there is no doubt that his mission to inspire happiness, fun, love and optimism around the globe through his unique art and vibrant colors has achieved his goal most spectacularly.
Brazilian born and Miami-made, Britto’s works have been exhibited in the most prestigious galleries and museums in over 120 countries,. He has created numerous public and private art installations, from the largest in the history of London’s Hyde Park, the opening of Super Bowl XLI in collaboration with Cirque Du Soleil and he was the official artist for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He has collaborated with Disney, Hasbro, Mattel, Apple, Coca-Cola, Hublot, Wilson, Pepsi Co, Bentley, Puma, Evian, NBC Universal, Philips, Samsung, Carnival Cruise Lines and so many more. His licensed products are in over 30,000 retail sites worldwide, and he is a frequent speaker at the World Economic Forum as well as being an activist for over 250 charities. By partnering with Raul and IBERIA TILES, everyone can enjoy seeing the amazing BRITTO art tile walls decorating the front of the Aventura City of Excellence School and the Don Soffer Aventura Senior High School.
Thanks to Raul Fadel, CEO of IBERIA TILES and the City of Aventura’s bus transportation to BRITTO PALACE, a very fortunate group of AMC members toured this 60,000 sq.ft. studio in Miami to marvel at original BRITTO sculptures and photos with everyone from the Pope to Presidents of many countries, international celebrities and a visit to the famous BRITTO cars. The BRITTO gift shop was a huge attraction for the AMC members, causing excitement upon finding out that their gifts would be autographed by the man himself. As AMC members were enjoying a delicious Mo’s Bagels lunch in the BRITTO enormous kitchen.
while celebrating the birthday of Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts & Comptroller Juan Fernandez-Barquin, Romero came in to chat with everyone and take photos. What great memories were being made that day!
