Jeffrey Levinson, Senior Vice President of Valley Bank, was recently honored as one of “12 Good Men” by the Ronald McDonald House Charities South Florida that honored leading men with a history of outstanding community involvement, civic service and participation in one or more of South Florida’s charity organizations.  Each of the 12 honorees exemplified exceptional qualities of kindness, caring, sacrifice and contributions to the many needs and causes in our community.

The Ronald McDonald Houses support the health and well-being of children by providing lodging, meals,  activities and  a community of care  to critically ill children and their families who need to be near a hospital for treatment.   The South Florida House is mainly known for housing families who travel to Miami from far to receive lifesaving medical treatment for their children with serious illnesses

Levinson has been a South Florida banker for over 30 years and has given back time and resources to organizations such as Junior Achievement of Greater Miami, teaching  thousands of Miami-Dade students how to open a real business through the Junior Achievement Company Program.  He was the first consultant to teach every grade level (K-12) the financial literacy program that Junior Achievement offers.  He has been actively involved in the community, holding executive positions with the Kiwanis,  Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center, Northeast Dade Municipal Advisory Committee, North Miami Beach Little League, Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce, Scheck Hillel Community School, and currently is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of the Aventura Police Dept. Foundation.

As a Master Magician, he has volunteered at many schools and non-profit organizations including Lotus House Women’s Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Jack & Jill Center to entertain children and discuss financial literacy.
