Jumbo Business EXPO at DCOTA great success

The spirit of camaraderie is alive and well amongst some of South Florida’s most active and productive business organizations! Each year, the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) organizes a Jumbo Business EXPO and Networking event at DCOTA (Design Center of The Americas) with the Dania Beach Chamber, Hallandale Beach Chamber, Hollywood Chamber, North Miami Beach Chamber and Prime Time Business Network…and each year, the rave reviews increase.

Each Chamber and Prime Time invited their members to take display tables and encouraged all members to attend to meet potential new clients and expand their business network. Almost 80 exhibitors had their tables filled with literature, samples and door prizes long before the 5pm event start…they knew from experience that the business attendees would start arriving around 4:30pm to have ample time to visit all the exhibitor tables. Randie Shane, Exec. Director of the Dania Beach Chamber, brought in the grand prize of the evening — a two-night stay at the Le Meridien Hotel with dinner for two at Toro . A brief program run by AMC Chairman Gary Pyott had the organizational leaders thanking their members for being exhibitors and for attending as guests. AMC Chairman Gary Pyott emceed a brief program which featured Hon. Bobbie H. Grace and Pat Chukerman for the Dania Beach Chamber, Norma English for the Hallandale Beach Chamber, Ojetter Smalls for the Hollywood Chamber, Hon. Evan Piper and Leslie Loewenthal for the North Miami Beach Chamber and Dr. Mike Wendrow for Prime Time Business Network. Brad Shepherd from DCOTA welcomed everyone to the elegant venue that is home to over 35 international top-tier designers, architects, decorators, dealers and their clients in an elegant 800,000 sq. ft. design campus. Brad drew the grand prize winner’s card and afterwards, the EXPO networking and live music continued.
