Aventura Marketing Council and Aventura Police Department teamed up once again to provide toys for the children of the Salvation Army during a jumbo breakfast networker hosted by Courtyard by Marriott at Aventura Mall.
AMC Chair Cliff Schulman of Weiss, Serota, Helfman welcomed over 100 Aventura Marketing Council members and community leaders who came together to network and donated over 100 toys for underprivileged children.
“I would like to thank the Courtyard Marriott and the Aventura Marketing Council for their donations to the Aventura Police Department’s Holiday Toy Drive making it the most successful one yet. It’s great to know that our community is always willing to help out, even during these economically hard times.” said Chief Steinberg.
Guests were amongst the first to admire the Courtyard’s new lobby featuring hightech amenities and the debut of the tasty new menu from The Bistro, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites plus specialty beverages made with Starbucks coffee.
Jose Batista, General Manager of the Courtyard said, “This event was a great opportunity to help the community and also introduce the community to our hotel and the offerings at the hotel’s restaurant, The Bistro.”
