If you’d like to chat with someone from the Aventura Police Department (APD), the APD Community Ambassador Panel (CAP) or the Aventura Police Foundation (APF), make your way over to their next pop-up event on Monday, April 17th, from 6 – 8pm on NE 34th Avenue and North Country Club Drive, where the Aventura Bikes Station is at the entrance to DelVista. Look for the APD “Slingshot” car ,and spend a few moments getting to know your police department and volunteers who help the police department—communication is key!
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other because they have not communicated with each other.”-
To find out more about both organizations go to Facebook.com/apdcap or aventurapolicefoundation.com
