With February as National Heart Month as well as Valentine’s Day, it was only natural for the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) to theme their February Professional Women’s Council (PWC) Luncheon at 800 Degrees Woodfire Kitchen as “Paint What’s In Your Heart”. Meeting sponsor was Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute, and Dr. ____________ Avila spoke about the importance of _____________________________

Once a year, the PWC invites gentlemen to join the women, and how appropriate that the gentlemen were invited to this particular luncheon at the Aventura restaurant owned by Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem. With the outstanding networking, great buffet luncheon and the AMC “artists” collaborating on their artwork, it was an afternoon to remember. As guests entered the restaurant, they were each presented with a red painting apron, courtesy of Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Amidst the laughter and selfies, guests enjoyed a delicious luncheon of 800 Degrees specialty menu items. Dr. Avila took the podium to briefly talk about National Heart Month, and then she, Michele Slane ________________, ________________________ and Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman donned their “Art Judge” ribbons and circulated amongst the tables to determine the winning table’s artwork, a collaborative effort of all the guests at each individual table. Little did they realize that there were some serious artists in the crowd! It was a difficult decision, but the winning piece of artwork was created by _________________________________________________________________

Each artist from that table received an 800 Degrees $25 gift card, courtesy of Memorial Cardiac & Vascular Institute.
