Timing couldn’t be more perfect for Sanguich, the most decorated Cuban sandwich shop in America and recipient of the ’22, ’23, ’24 and ’25 Michelin Bib Gourmand awards, to open up in the City of Excellence. Located in the Aventura Mall Treats Food Hall, Sanguich is known for their amazingly delicious Cuban sandwiches, shakes and the smoothest coffee in town. Almost everything, from their incredible bread, ham, turkey and roast beef and even their pickles and mustard, are curated by the Sanguich teams overseen by owners Rosa Romero and Daniel Figueredo who say, “We exist to preserve Cuban culture through food and hospitality.”
Celebrating Sanguich’s ribbon-cutting were Aventura Mayor Howard S. Weinberg, Esq, Comm. Cliff Ain, Comm. Cindy Orlinsky, Comm. Gustavo Blachman, and City Manager Bryan Pegues with members of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce.
