You need say nothing more than Avra Miami Estiatorio at the Estates at Acqualina, and you know that elegance and sophistication will reign! Developers Jules, Stephanie and Eddie Trump opened Avra this past December in their Estates at Acqualina, their luxury condominium highrise in Sunny Isles Beach.
Residents of Sunny Isles Beach selected Avra for their recent celebration of the newly-elected leadership team and invited new Sunny Isles Beach Mayor Larisa Svechin to be their featured speaker. Leaders from surrounding municipalities were invited to attend in order to encourage working together for the benefit of all. From the moment guests arrived at Avra’s valet parking, they were greeted outside by the NJROTC cadets from Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School and inside by the gracious Avra staff. Music and dancers from Margot Velvet Events entertained the guests.
Former Sunny Isles Beach Mayor Norman Edelcup introduced the Miami-Dade Police Department Honor Guard and former Miami-Dade Commissioner Sally Heyman led the Pledge of Allegiance. Internationally- recognized artist Romero Britto, a resident of Sunny Isles Beach, presented Mayor Svechin with a magnificent piece of artwork. Mayor Svechin said, “Brito’s gift to the city is stunning and will hang proudly in the Mayor’s office.” The excitement didn’t stop there as comedian Josh Rosen warmed up the audience for famous New York comedian Tony Woods. “Tony was fabulous—a true professional and great talent!” noted the Mayor.
Mayor Svechin was smiling throughout the evening, happy to give her City’s leaders well-deserved recognition, saying, ““I look forward to working with my fellow South Florida Mayors, and with Vice Mayor Joseph and our Sunny Isles Beach Commissioners as we work together to bring unity and put Sunny Isles Beach on the map.”
