A gala celebration to honor the State of Israel on its 74th birthday will be held at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center (MARJCC) on Wednesday, May 4, and Thursday, May 5. This Israel @74 Community Celebration brings together Jewish organizations working in partnership to celebrate Israel’s Independence on the exact day on the Jewish calendar when Israel declared its independence in 1948. Partnering with the MARJCC are the Israeli American Council, the David Posnack Jewish Community Center, the Israeli House of the Consulate General of Israel, and the Jewish National Fund.
