Legendary resort offers exclusive golf weekends with PGA Professional Instructor Turnberry Isle Miami announces an exclusive golf experience celebrating National Golf Month. Led by PGA Teacher of the Year and Southern Chapter Senior Champion, Gary Knapp, weekend golf schools are available every Saturday and Sunday through September 30th.
“Each clinic begins with an evaluation of each player’s drive, short game, sand play, putting and swing sequence, which enables me to create a customized weekend golf program,” said Knapp. “Players will also be videotaped during instruction and receive an opportunity to review their form and fine tune specific game techniques.”
Priced at $880 for two guests, the Golf Month promotion includes eight hours of golf instruction spread out over two days and two complimentary rounds of golf on the resort’s two 18-hole championship courses. Guests participating in the schools are required to also stay overnight. Spacious, luxurious accommodations are available to book with nightly rates starting at $119.
Varied flora and trees indigenous to Florida’s tropical climate create an oasislike setting on the resort’s two 18-hole championship golf courses. Redesigned by Raymond Floyd, the Soffer and Miller courses feature a variety of elevation changes, contoured fairways, sharp changes within holes and strategically placed water features. With one of the highest slope and course ratings in South Florida from the back tees, the Soffer Course is intended for championship play. The shorter, yet equally challenging Miller Course is a classic resort spread.
