Warren Henry Auto Group, South Florida’s premier luxury auto group, sponsored an interactive All-Star Basketball Kids Camp experience recently at the Michael- Ann Russell Jewish Community Center hosted by the South Florida National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) and Floyd Sports Marketing.
NBA legends Mark Strickland (former Miami Heat guard), NBA Champion Norris Cole (current Miami Heat guard) and Tim
Hardaway (former Miami Heat point guard) interacted with and taught campers the fundamentals and importance of teamwork – a transferable life skill “off the court.”
Special guests included Marvin Jones (former New York Jets linebacker), Laurence Maroney (former New England Patriots running back), Plaxico Burress (former New York Jets wide receiver), Kenny Anderson (former Boston Celtics point guard) and Warren Sapp (former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle).
A sponsor since the camp’s inception in 2009, Warren Henry Auto Group sponsored ten underprivileged children from the Center for Family and Child Enrichment to attend in addition to providing special t-shirts for all participants.
Fisker Miami, Land Rover North and South Dade, Warren Henry Infiniti, Warren Henry Jaguar and Warren Henry Volvo also provided an exclusive vehicle showcase for participating NBA legends and campers.
“This interactive camp teaches fundamental basketball skills, sportsmanship and team concepts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, staying in school and saying no to drugs and alcohol.
These core values help enhance a sense of self-confidence for these young souls,” says Floyd Raglin, President of Floyd Sports Marketing and cohost of the All-Star Kids Camp. For more information, call 888-856-3113 or visit www.warrenhenryauto.com
