Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP has announced its recognition by Legal Services of Greater Miami (LSGMI) as the recipient of the 2023 Equal Justice Pro Bono Impact Award.

The award recognizes the dedication and support of pro bono work by the firm’s Miami lawyers to LSGMI and its clients as well as the firm’s leadership and commitment to equal justice in the community.

“It is a huge honor to be recognized for our pro bono work in partnership with Legal Services of Greater Miami,” said Juan C. Enjamio, managing partner of the firm’s Miami office. “Hunton Andrews Kurth believes everyone should have access to legal services and has a longstanding tradition of providing pro bono services in the communities where we work and live. We are proud to be able to support our community here in Miami, particularly in advocating for tenants’ rights and preventing evictions.”

Hunton Andrews Kurth is proud of its community service and leadership among law firms in the United States, where the firm’s tradition of pro bono service is well recognized. For 14 consecutive years, the firm has achieved 100 percent full-time U.S. lawyer participation in pro bono projects, including 138 timekeepers with more than 100 hours of pro bono service for fiscal year 2023.

At the end of the firm’s fiscal year on Mar. 31, 2023, the firm had donated more than 54,000 pro bono hours to underserved communities, commemorating 30 continuous years of meeting or exceeding the Pro Bono Institute’s Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge of donating at least three percent of the firm’s annual billable hours to pro bono service.
