Les Dames D’Escoffier Miami (LDEM) will present their annual Giant Gourmet Garage Sale on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Galleria of the Coral Gables Museum, 285 Aragon Ave.
LDEM is a non-profit organization comprised of female culinary, wine, hospitality and farming professionals dedicated to funding scholarships for young South Florida women, supporting regional agriculture and funding organic school vegetable gardens, nutrition and cooking educational programs for area youth and South Florida’s farm labor force.
The Giant Gourmet Garage Sale, presented and staffed by LDEM members, is a wonderful place to stock up on all things culinary — flatware, cookbooks, Tupperware, art, linens, napkins, pots and pans, candles, ceramics, bakeware, stemware, small appliances and much more.
Additionally, the Dames Marketplace will feature locally grown fruit and vegetables, potted herbs, vegetable starts, prepared foods and baked goods — all homemade and homegrown by the chapter’s talented chef, caterer and farmer members.
The event is free and open to the public and proceeds from sales will help underwrite Les Dames projects.
