Deciding to join Job Corps is a major step toward a person’s future — and Miami Job Corps Center wants to celebrate that decision with the enthusiasm it deserves.
That’s why the program is launching a Job Corps Signing Day campaign. It’s a way for prospective and current students and center staff to join community partners and local elected officials in celebrating new students as they sign “letters of commitment” to their future by enrolling in Job Corps.
Miami Job Corps Center’s “Signing Day” will be Saturday, Sept. 24, from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Officials are inviting the public, including prospective applicants, youth ages 16-24, to this inaugural event.
The Signing Day will take place at Miami Job Corps Center, located at 3050 NW 183 St., Miami Gardens, FL 33056. Signing Day presents opportunities: to rally around new and prospective Job Corps students and celebrate their making a commitment to their future, welcome them to the center, and show them they are supported by the Job Corps and surrounding community.
