The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation (Levan Center of Innovation) proudly hosted Beyond the Role: A Deep Dive into Transformational Leadership, an inspiring morning event that explored personality-driven leadership styles and the power of collaboration to achieve meaningful results. Sponsored by Kip Hunter Marketing, the program drew professionals, leaders, and students from across South Florida who were eager to gain actionable insights into authentic leadership. The event was presented as part of the Levan Center of Innovation’s Women of Vision programming.
The event featured a keynote address by Caitlin Stella, CEO of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, who energized the audience with her message on “Leading with Love.” Stella emphasized how love in leadership—expressed through humanity, purpose, and community—can build stronger teams, improve performance, and create a meaningful impact in both organizations and lives.
Attendees also participated in an interactive workshop led by Jonathan Harrison, Director of Learning & Organizational Development at NSU, where they engaged in the DISC personality assessment to uncover their leadership styles and explore strategies to enhance team collaboration.
“Beyond the Role highlighted how transformational leadership isn’t just about a title—it’s about connecting authentically, fostering collaboration, and driving results that matter,” said Mili Orsini Peluso, Deputy Executive Director of the Levan Center of Innovation. “We are proud to provide programs like this that inspire, educate, and strengthen our South Florida leadership community.”
Participants left with practical tools to apply in their professional lives, stronger connections, and a renewed commitment to leading with authenticity, purpose, and love.
