You get a lot for your $49,000 in the 2022 Nissan Armada. This car seats 8 comfortably.

There is a standard third row, available leather-appointed seating, including available second-row captain’s chairs, and roomy storage.

Comfort inside the cabin cannot be understated. Whatever the weather outside, Armada’s available cooled and heated front seats offer relief. On cold days, your second-row outboard passengers can enjoy available heated seats of their own.

The available heated steering wheel is there to warm up your hands on the next chilly morning. And, Armada’s smartly designed tri-zone automatic temperature control system lets all three rows enjoy the perfect temp, with rear curtain vents making climate comfort a breeze. So you can make the road trip as fun as the destination.

This 8 cylinder, 5.6-liter engine delivers 13 miles per gallon in the city and 18 miles per gallon on the highway, with 15 miles per gallon combined.

Redesigned inside and out for the 2021 model year, the 2022 Nissan Armada continues to offer premium style, comfort and connectivity. All together, it offers what is the most standard horsepower, tech and safety features in the large SUV segment.

The 2022 Nissan Armada has four grade levels – S, SV, SL and Platinum – along with the unique Midnight Edition Package.

Here is a roundup of some of the best features:

  • Rugged exterior and premium interior offer a combination of strength and luxury that I really like.
  • The standard technology features include the largest-in-class 12.3-inch touchscreen, NissanConnect with Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless Apple CarPlay integration.
  • Standard safety features including Nissan safety shield 360 plus intelligent lane intervention, intelligent forward collision warning and blind spot intervention gives everyone a sense of dependable security.

  • Advanced 5.6-liter endurance V8 engine is now rated at the best-in-class standard 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque

  • Standard best-in-class 8,500-pound maximum towing capacity, available integrated trailer brake controller and trailer sway control

  • Available midnight edition package with blackout exterior and interior treatment

  • One-touch power-folding/reclining third-row seats for platinum grades

As I said, room is a key feature of this large SUV. Moving or carrying big loads to the gardens can be accommodated by lowering the second and third rows to give yourself an impressive 95.4 cubic feet of cargo space. So if need be you can pack the soccer players and their equipment in the back – what other SUV commands this much space?

I really like the 2022 Nissan Armada. I wish I would have had it when I was coaching. It would have made life so much easier.
