Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion: New season, name, leadership

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion is launching its new season with an exhilarating lineup of concerts in November, February, April and May featuring classical 2 piano repertoire that blends with music from Brazil to West Africa.

Formerly known as Dranoff 2 Piano Foundation, the name change was implemented recently to better reflect the evolution of the organization, which showcases musical fusions of many styles and cultures.

“For years, Dranoff 2 Piano has been shifting from presenting classical piano duos exclusively to embrace the diversity of our South Florida audience, so it was time to make a change,” said Emily Cardenas, new executive director who joined Dranoff in mid-August.

“Now our name mirrors our programming, which we hope to expand in 2026 and beyond.”
True to its roots, Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion opens its season with a classical performance before taking audiences around the world.
