A Joyful Easter Tradition for Families

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden invites families to hop into spring at its annual Easter celebration The Bunny Hoppening on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This beloved yearly tradition welcomes thousands of families for a full day of festive fun, seasonal activities, and memory-making moments across Fairchild’s 83 acres.

Visitors will be immersed in a joyful lineup of activities including the

  • Eggsplore Galore Egg Hunt,
  • meet-and-greets with Mr. Bunny,
  • trackless rides aboard the Cottontail Express,
  • classic lawn games,
  • and the lively Bubble Bunny Hop.

Families are encouraged to explore the Garden’s 83 acres of living collections while enjoying a spring celebration designed especially for children and their grown-ups.

The Eggsplore Galore Egg Hunt, a highlight of the day, is a specially ticketed, timed experience organized by age group and held on the Garden House Lawn. Please note that participation in the Egg Hunt is not included with general Garden admission. Due to limited capacity, parents must purchase an Egg Hunt ticket in advance for each child who would like to participate. Fairchild Members get free adult admission; however, the Egg Hunt is an additional cost for all children, including members.

For those looking to enhance the day’s festivities, other optional add-ons include Adult and Child Picnic Baskets as well as Mini Cocktail and Mini Mimosa Flights for guests 21 and over, offering a festive way to celebrate while little ones enjoy the excitement of the day.
