Neya’s modern Israeli menu, influenced by Spain, North Africa and Levant is filled with dishes that are as authentic and absolutely delicious, as they are fun to pronounce. Your best bet is to ask the dynamic hostess and attentive server to recommend favorite dishes, or better yet, to surprise you.
Once you surrender to the culinary adventure, you will find an array of mezze plates and large dishes that are perfect for sharing. Unique to Neya is its Josper charcoal oven, which perfectly cooks its expertly prepared proteins, including: roasted lamb cutlets, grilled tiger prawns, wagyu ribeye, branzino and Moroccan snapper.
Other menu highlights include: Shishbarak (dumplings), Sigara Borek; crispy Brussels sprouts; Shashuka; Neya hummus, halloumi cheese with smoked matbucha (Moroccan tomato salad) and tuna carpaccio. We weren’t kidding about the fun names!
The stunning center bar, which flanks the restaurant, offers creative cocktails that compliment the menu. Neya’s open kitchen allows guests to delight in the chefs’ mastery.
Neya is located at 9491 Harding Avenue in Surfside. It is open Sunday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Neya hosts a weekly ladies’ night on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm, with complimentary cocktails for ladies. During the months of August and September, Neya offers a Miami Spice menu on certain evenings.
